New concepts are growing up like mushrooms and here is another sustainable gadget which appears to be capable of conserving water when it is possible. Water is a top priority no doubts while it is stated that half of the hospital beds around the world are occupied by those who suffer from water related diseases.
While design students from AIGA Aspen Design Challenge try to find a solution to water conserving the finalists from Samsung Design Membership offers a green Oli concept line designed to conserve water easily and efficiently. The motto is to reduce indoor water consumption and it seems to be possible to take more sustainable shower.
The pressure-sensitive water saving bath mat turns out to be an ideal water conserving solution as it is connected to the tap making it possible to you shower only when you are next to the shower head. Once you are not close enough to the shower head, water will stop flowing for instance when you need to soap or shower.
In addition to that, the pressure-sensitive bath mat features REFRESH AND REMIND display indicating the amount if gallons you have used, time spent on showering and lighting used. Besides, there is a RELAX AND REUSE grey water collecting seat that can be located in the shower.
Designers who were developing the bath mat included Raymond Bessemer, Sergio Coronado, Franklin Crosby, Nallieli Santamaraia, Brad Smith, Urad Smith and Sean Whang.
