ICON A5 fold-up amphibious sports plane – style icon in the sky

This futuristically looking airplane is breathtaking. This flying bad boy is powered Rotax 912 ULS engine to produce 100 horsepower and an estimated top speed of 120 miles per hour. Its light weight structure is made of high durability carbon fiber. Resembling a sports car, its charming 46 inch cockpit has a stunning dashboard. Thanks to its retractable landing gear that is optional landing and taking off is supposed to be intuitive.

Its folding wings seem to be another masterpiece as they are able to fold up both manually or automatically. This appears to be a really compact aircraft which can be stored at home or in your garage so you will not have to pay those extra storage bills. Additionally, the A5 comes equipped with a rocket-launched complete airplane parachute being packed in the roof section.

Optionally you will be able to have a customizable aircraft towing trailer. Its integral headlights, floodlights as well as a GPS moving map system keeping you abreast of weather and local land. The maximum takeoff weight is 1430 lbs while useful load ranges from 430 to 530 lbs. The ICON A5 features a baggage of 60 lbs, fuel capacity is 20 gallons while flight range is 300 nm. Takeoff and landing distance is supposed to be 750 ft.

The ICON A5 also features Seawing platforms designed for easy docking and access, Wing Angle of Attack Indicator. This gorgeous aircraft is able to run on both auto gasoline and aviation gasoline. Its cockpit features include high visibility wrap-around canopy, optional LCD multifunction display, various storage compartments, MP3 in-flight music port as well as removable side windows.
