Despite of its huge popularity, Kawasaki appears to be always on the go. A new gadget offered by Kawasaki is designed for a new generation GTR. Kawasaki boasts its infra-red night vision technology which is capable of providing much visibility than standard headlights have to offer. This optional product might be of avail in those night driving situations.
There is a pair of infra-red cameras installed behind lenses in front of its rear-view mirrors. Cameras select pictures to provide a rider with a stereoscopic view to your on board computer which lets you define the distance from road objects while warning a rider when necessary. Additionally, one camera displays a picture on your LCD monitor placed on your instrument panel.
These long-wave cameras operate based on heat that makes it a perfect device for highlighting distant animals however if an object is not hotter than the background, the system will not identify that. These smart cameras are able to get heat for more than 300 meters which is much better than what you see through your headlights.
As you move in the dark, the system will be alerting you to those dangerous road situations. While driving without night vision does not make you look at your on board computer, this smart system highlights identified objects.
This smart system is able to alert you though a Bluetooth headpiece mounted in your helmet and provide you with additional data about the distance from the object. So if you are bike aficionado, you will be surprised at how useful it could be.
