Lenovo has launched U350 ultra-thin and C300 all-in-one

Lenovo has already launched some of their long awaited and long rumored gadgets. This totally shows the advantage of living in the western part of the globe – it is not yet lunch time, and there we are, guys from the East, who are usually first to get all the interesting stuff, have already shown what they had for today. This is what we got – at the event in Taipei Lenovo has announced availability of the following: an ultra-thin IdeaPad U350 and an All-in-One C300. In Lenovo they say this two are the future because ultra-thins are going to have from 30 to 40% of the notebook market, same amount for normal notebooks and the rest is for netbooks.


Specs of these two were known since they were announced back in May. But for clearer view what C300 and U350 are lets go through the them again.

Lenovo C300 is an All-in-One desktop. It sports Intel Atom 230 sitting on Intel 945GC chipset, has a 16 : 9 20 inch display, integrated Intel GMA 950 GPU. System memory runs up to 2GB DDR2 667 and disk space is limited to 640GB. Lots of supplement stuff to play with, all for 700 USD.

Lenovo U350 – top model has Intel Core 2 Solo SU3500, Mobile Intel GMA 4500MHD Memory. Fairly good 8GB DDR3 RAM but only 500GB HDD. As C300 it has 16 : 9 aspect ratio only its 13.3 inch. In rest practically same number of toys and features. Price in this configuration is uncertain but will surely be above C300's.
