Asus Eee Pad EP101TC and EP121 previewed

Many people have been waiting for the ASUS Eee Pads for a long time. If you don’t know, ASUS intents to join the tablets race with Eee Pad and to take out the iPad as the dominant tablet on the market. Anyhow, ASUS Eee Pads have been shown so let’s take a look what ASUS has to offer.

First of all, ASUS Eee Pad hasn’t been released yet and this is just a quick preview of what we can inspect from ASUS in near future. With the first impressions, we can say that Eee Pads aren’t not working as we have imagined, but luckily there’s a lot room for improvement and corrections. Even if these Eee Pads aren’t working as they should, they are still amazing tablets with all sorts of features. So far there are only two models, 10-inch EP101TC and 12-inch EP121. First thing that catches your eye with these tablets is the smooth design that uses aluminum edges and matte back cover.
One great feature of these tablets is that they come with a docking station that you can use as your keyboard, so if you’re having a hard time with the virtual keyboard you can simply place your Eee Pad and use it as a standard notebook. NVIDIA Tegra was used for powering the EP 101TC which had some issues with user interface. Touchscreen is a bit unresponsive but despite that, user interface looks amazing. There’s a lot room for improvement and we can’t wait to see the final results in near future.
